AirFidelity, Inc., a U.S.-based clean-technology company specializing in high-performance HVAC filtration, today announced the commercial launch of the ACM-03M Automatic Rinsing Machine, a purpose-built system designed to automate the cleaning and maintenance of its MESP® electrostatic air filters and charging grids.
The ACM-03M completes a full rinse cycle in as little as 45 seconds, restoring filter performance while eliminating the labor, waste, and recurring cost associated with disposable HVAC filters. The system supports AirFidelity’s FAH-M series MESP filter modules and charging grids, which are engineered to be washable and reusable for up to ten years.
“High-efficiency air filtration is only effective if the filters are properly maintained,” said an AirFidelity spokesperson. “The ACM-03M allows building operators to clean MESP filters quickly and safely, preserving energy efficiency, air quality, and long-term return on investment.”
Unlike traditional paper filters that require monthly or quarterly replacement, MESP® electrostatic filters capture particulate and pathogens with ultra-low airflow resistance, reducing HVAC energy use while delivering superior indoor air quality. Over time, accumulated contaminants must be removed to maintain optimal performance. The ACM-03M automates that process, using controlled water pressure and temperature to wash filter plates and charging grids without damaging sensitive components.
The stainless-steel ACM-03M is designed for commercial and institutional environments including hotels, hospitals, office towers, airports, data centers, and mixed-air HVAC systems. It is optimized for light to moderately contaminated filters, such as those used in long-term recirculated-air or mixed-air applications. AirFidelity recommends cleaning MESP filters every eight to ten months, depending on operating conditions.
By enabling the reuse of MESP filters for up to a decade, the ACM-03M also supports AirFidelity’s environmental and sustainability goals. The system eliminates tons of disposable filter waste, reduces landfill burden, and preserves the energy-saving performance of low-pressure-drop electrostatic filtration.
